and last, but certainly not least...

It's probably a bit obscure and quirky, but we enjoy "The Lemon Drop Kid" (1951), starring Bob Hope. Claim to fame: This is the film that introduced the song "Silver Bells".

I love all those on the list, but I am a sucker for Jim Henson's Muppets too. It's hard to find, but The Muppet Family Christmas is the Muppets and Sesame Street at Fozzie's Farm. A muppet classic.

For me, I would have to add A Christmas Memory by a book by Truman Capote and A Christmas Story. Oh yes, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. I'm sure I have other favorites but these three come to mind right away.

I loved Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas (a Jim Henson movie) as a Kid (and still). It is a bit 80's but the message is still timeless. Also, for a really sad, but beautiful, Christmas tale, All Mine to Give, is a nice choice. It's tragic, but one of those movies that makes you thankful for family.
